Brief Intro

Dr. Washington joined Virginia Hospital Center in July 2003. He served in the US Army prior to joining the Virginia Hospital Center medical staff. Dr. Washington is board certified in Diagnostic Radiology with a Certificate of Added qualification in Vascular Radiology and Interventional Radiology. Dr. Washington has special interest in the endovascular treatment of Uterine Fibroids as well as the treatment of chronic pelvic pain due to ovarian vein varicosity (Pelvic Congestion Syndrome). He also has extensive experience in the localized treatment of hepatic malignancies with radiofrequency ablation as well as hepatic chemoembolization. He is actively involved in the treatment of the full gamut of vascular disease and is the primary practitioner in the areas of carotid stent placement as well as the endovascular treatment of both thoracic and abdominal aortic aneurysms.
