STANFORD MARVIN SHOSS, M.D., was a Summa Cum Laude graduate of Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. He attended Baylor College of Medicine, Houston, Texas, where he received his Doctor of Medicine degree in July 1981. His Internship in General Surgery was done at Southwestern Medical School, Dallas, Texas, and then back to Baylor College of Medicine for his Residency in Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery. He became a Diplomat of the American Board of Otolaryngology in October 1986. In 1988, Dr. Shoss became a member of the HENT medical staff. His interest in education has led him to teaching positions in area medical schools along with his medical practice.
Dr. Shoss holds memberships in several professional and honor societies, and has served three individual terms as Otolaryngology Section Chairman at Memorial Southwest Hospital.
