Brief Intro

Dr.Siobhan S. Dunnavant is a Tidewater Virginia native who is the daughter of a US Navy Commander and the fifth of six children. She completed her undergraduate work at Randolph-Macon Women’s College. She went on to receive a nursing degree from the University of Virginia and a medical degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School where she also completed her residency. A Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, she was the first woman to serve as Chair of the OB-GYN department at Henrico Doctors’ Hospital. She also served on the Governor’s Board for Maternal and Fetal Medicine from 2000 to 2003 and on the Boards of Director’s of the Medical Society of Virginia and Saint Joseph’s Home. She currently serves on the Board of Trustees of Henrico Doctors’ Hospital. Dr. Dunnavant was voted one of Richmond’s Top Doc’s for Gynecology and Obstetrics in Richmond Magazine Top Doc’s 2010 issue. Dr. Dunnavant is married with four children.
