Simhadri K. Sastry, MD, treats patients with gastrointestinal disorders in WK hospitals and his follow-up clinic. His special interest is caring for many local patients who have colon diseases and inflammatory bowel disease (IBD).
A native of India, he graduated from Andhra Medical College. He came to Shreveport after a residency and fellowship at Bronx Lebanon Hospital Center in New York City. Dr. Sastry is board certified in gastroenterology by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
Dr. Sastry enjoys time with his wife who is also a doctor and their grown son. In his free time, Dr. Sastry enjoys gardening and traveling.
