About Dr. Cox
Dr. Cox was born and raised in Savannah, Georgia. He received his master’s and doctoral degrees from the University of Georgia. He then received a dental degree and a master’s degree in Pediatric Dentistry from the University of Tennessee Dental School at Memphis. He has been practicing pediatric dentistry and hospital dentistry in Chattanooga, Tennessee for over 30 years.
Dr. Cox is a member of the nationally recognized Tennessee Craniofacial Team located in Chattanooga. He provides dental and orthopedic care for children with craniofacial anomalies and lectures to the Plastic Surgery residents at UT College of Medicine at Erlanger Hospital. Dr. Cox is on staff with T.C. Thompson Children’s Hospital, where he performs various dental procedures for children who require general anesthesia for treatment. He is certified in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and exceeds the annual continuing education requirement for his profession. Dr. Cox is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Southeastern Society of Pediatric Dentists, American Dental Association and the Chattanooga Area Dental Society. He is Board certified and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.
