Dr. Yassinger received his medical degree from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois and completed his Internship also at Northwestern University. He completed his Residency at the University of Oregon Medical School in Portland, Oregon and his Fellowship at the Department of Internal Medicine and Division of Gastroenterology at the University of California at Davis Medical Center. Dr. Yassinger is Board Certified in both Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. He has been in practice since 1973 and, as a founding member, has been with Capitol G.I. since its inception in 1997.
