Dr. Sidney L. Stapleton is certified by the American Board of Surgery, is a member of the American College of Surgeons, American Society of Breast Surgeons, and the Society of Surgical Oncology. He is a graduate of Emory University and Emory University School of Medicine, and completed his surgical training at the University of Virginia before serving in the United States Air Force. He has been in the practice of general surgery in Atlanta since 1974.
