Dr. Latif earned his undergraduate degree from Rice University in Houston Texas, and his medical degree from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis Missouri. Dr. Latif's internship and residency was served at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland, followed by a fellowship in research and cardiology at University of Texas at Southwest, Dallas, Texas. He completed his postgraduate training with his fellowship in electrophysiology at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia.
