Dr. Iqbal grew up in the Twin Cities before moving to the East Coast for most of his undergraduate, graduate, and post-graduate training. He completed his Internal Medicine residency training in Philadelphia at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and his fellowship training in Baltimore at the Johns Hopkins Hospital. During his training, he participated in clinical research centered around Hepatology and the care of patients with decompensated cirrhosis.
