Dr. Davis earned her medical degree from Emory University Medical School in Atlanta, Georgia. She completed her residency in general surgery at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, Florida. Dr. Davis is board certified in general surgery. Prior to joining Piedmont Surgery Specialists, Dr. Davis was in private practice in Pensacola, Florida for more than ten years. She also served as a staff surgeon for the United States Air Force. Dr. Davis is a member of the American Medical Association, American Cancer Society, American Medical Women%u2019s Association, and American Association of Women Surgeons. Dr. Davis provides a broad-range of general surgery services with extensive experience in gastrointestinal surgeries, breast surgery, thyroid surgery, and wound care. She also has recent experience in treating hernias resulting from the open abdomen with component separation therapy. Dr. Davis is trained in hyperbaric treatment and provides vein treatment with endovenous laser treatment. When not working, Dr. Davis spends time with her husband and her pets, including two dogs and two cats. She also enjoys fishing, kayaking and bicycling. Dr. Davis is accepting new patients and welcomes most major insurance plans.
