Dr. Hakimian earned his medical and master's degrees from Washington University in St. Louis in 2000. He completed residency training in neurology at Barnes-Jewish Hospital/Washington University in 2005. Dr. Hakimian then joined the epilepsy program as a senior fellow in epilepsy and clinical neurophysiology. He is a UW acting assistant professor of neurology at University of Washington and a member of the Regional Epilepsy Center. clinical epilepsy, he has interests in systems neurobiology, computational methods for analysis of biological signals and quantitative methods of EEG analysis. He is board certified in neurology with added qualification in clinical neurophysiology.
