Brief Intro

Dr. Mamdani completed his undergraduate studies at Emory University, Atlanta, GA., followed by medical school at Medical College of Georgia. He completed his training in Internal Medicine at Rhode Island Hospital /Brown Medical School followed by a fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease at the University of Texas Health Science Center at the Texas Medical Center. Dr. Mamdani completed his subspecialty training in Interventional Cardiology at Yale-New Haven Medical Center and has since then received additional training in peripheral vascular disease at Harvard University and the Massachusetts General Hospital. Dr. Mamdani has served as an author or guest editor to several peer review journals, contributing abstracts, and book chapters. He remains active in clinical research as a principal investigator or sub investigator on various cath-lab and outpatient clinical trials, evaluating newer treatments for cardiovascular disease. He is currently a clinical assistant professor at Brown University School of Medicine. He is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology, and member of the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology and Society of Angiography and Intervention. He is board certified in Internal Medicine, General Cardiology, Nuclear Cardiology, and Interventional Cardiology.
