I am a member of the Psychiatry Department. I'm rapidly approaching my 25th year with Kaiser Permanente. My office practice is based at Santa Clarita Medical Offices, as well as part time at Lancaster/Antelope Valley Medical Offices. Biography I was born in Jersey City, New Jersey. I graduated Fairleigh Dickinson University in 1975 with a bachelor's degree cum laude in biology. I started my medical education at the Autonomous University of Guadalajara, where I was also able to become fluent in Spanish. I completed my medical education at Long Island Medical Center in New York and at LAC+USC Medical Center in Los Angeles. I joined Kaiser Permanente in 1985. About my practice I work in a group practice with other mental health providers, such as social workers and psychologists, in caring for patients' mental health. We always try to meet and exceed our members' expectations of us. How I thrive I believe the wellness of a person is not simply the absence of illness, but instead should be a state of complete physical, mental and social wellness. It's that kind of total care that I strive for myself, as well as for my patients.
