The goal is to facilitate the process of homeostasis in the human body. His practice focuses on the human body's ability to self-heal. Homeostasis is the tendency of an organism to maintain internal stability; requiring the coordinated response of its parts to any situation or stimulus tending to disturb its normal condition or function, thereby adjusting to conditions that are best for its survival. If homeostasis is successful, life continues.Dr. Ponquinette's focus are issues that stem from:Trigeminal Neuralgia (TN) is the most common cause of facial pain and is diagnosed in more than 15,000 people per year in the United States. Trigeminal neuralgia typically occurs spontaneously, but may also be associated with facial trauma or dental procedures. While rare, multiple sclerosis or a tumor and currently in research; postherpetic neuralgia (caused by shingles) can also cause trigeminal neuralgia.These reported outcomes were achieved through a process aimed at removing; what we refer to as, "pathological neuronal oscillations" or stress within the nerve cells. His protocol is non-drug and non-surgical; & in keeping with the primary pillar of the Hippocratic oath; "to do no harm"!Migraines are treated through a system aimed at fully re-establishing and maintaining:-Nerve Flow; and the regulation of the electrochemical processes.-Cerebrospinal Fluid Flow; provides nourishment, waste removal, and protection to the brain.-Blood Flow; provides oxygen, glucose, and other metabolites (e.g. lactate, Lac) to the brain.Orofacial Dyskinesia is a movement disorder and is characterized by severe, involuntary, dystonic movements of the facial, oral, and cervical musculature and may be caused by the long-term use of antipsychotic medications that block dopamine receptors.If conventional approaches haven't provided adequate relief, we can help.
