Dr. Scott A. Wellmann, M.D. is a Board Certified Pediatric CardiologistFounder of the Alaska Children's Heart Center, LLC Dr. Scott Wellmann grew up on a farm in a small town in Northwest Ohio. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Notre Dame in 1988, and he graduated from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine in 1992. He stayed in Cincinnati to complete a residency in Pediatrics and Fellowship training in Pediatric Cardiology at the renowned Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center. When he completed his training in 1998, he moved to Alaska to begin practice. He was employed at Pediatric Cardiology of Alaska until 2006.Dr. Wellmann is the devoted husband of Kitty Wellmann and the proud, doting father of three children.Alaska Children's Heart Center, LLC of Anchorage AlaskaChildren are the most precious aspects of our lives.
