Dr. Tamboli emphasizes patient and family education as the cornerstone of a successful treatment program. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Allergy and Immunology and the American Board of Pediatrics. She joined Allergy & Asthma Associates in 1998.
Her medical degree was earned in Karachi, Pakistan, followed by internships in internal medicine and surgery. She completed a residency in pediatrics at the Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. In 1995, she completed her fellowship in allergy/immunology at the internationally recognized National Jewish Medical and Research Center, formerly the National Jewish Center for Immunology and Respiratory Medicine, in Denver, Colorado, the only medical and research center in the United States entirely devoted to respiratory, allergic and immune system diseases.
Her goal in working with allergy and asthma patients and their families is to devise individual treatment plans that improve their quality of life.
