Dr. Deshpande earned his degree in medicine from the University of Bombay at Seth Gordhandas Sunderdas Medical College and King Edward Memorial Hospital in Bombay, India. He completed his residency in internal medicine at Cook County Hospital in Chicago, a fellowship in cardiology at the University of Illinois Affiliated Hospitals in Chicago, and a fellowship in clinical cardiac electrophysiology at the University of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. Dr. Deshpande is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular diseases and clinical cardiac electrophysiology. He is a fellow of the Heart Rhythm Society.
