Sandra Christenson graduated from the University of Wyoming with Bachelor’s degrees in Zoology/Physiology and Spanish. She then attended the CHAPA (Child Health Associate Physician Assistant) program at the University of Colorado graduating with a Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies in 2008. She came to Family Health West Primary Care first as a PA student and then chose to join the team and has been ever since! She has now been practicing for 14 years and loves seeing patients of all ages from infants to geriatrics. She is fluent in Spanish and especially enjoys working with Spanish-speaking patients. She is married with two children and loves spending time with her family, camping, and traveling.
