Dr. Patton graduated from the University of Texas at Austin, where he received the Endowed Presidential Scholarship. He obtained his medical degree from The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston and graduated with honors. Dr. Patton completed his residency in Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery at UTMB Galveston as well. During his tenure there, he won the award for Otolaryngology Resident of the Year as a chief surgical resident. He has a special interest in endoscopic sinus surgery, nasal airway surgery, neck surgery, and surgical treatment of obstructive sleep apnea.
