Brief Intro

Dr. Ryan C. Vaughn, M.D. grew up in Colorado and South Dakota. He attended undergraduate school at Colorado State University and received his medical degree from the University of Colorado School of Medicine. He then moved to Chicago to complete his residency in Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Illinois at Chicago. During his residency, Dr. Vaughn had extensive training in the treatment of adult and pediatric ears, nose and throat disorders. His training included time at Children's Memorial Hospital, John H. Stroger Cook County Hospital, Jesse Brown VA Medical Center, Mercy Hospital and Medical Center and The University of Illinois Hospital and Health Science Systems. Dr. Vaughn has published and presented research at local and national meetings on the role of VEGF signaling in neonatal pulmonary development, anatomic relationships of critical skull base structures and the role of acute alcohol intoxication on the auditory system. He is dedicated to the education of the next generation of physicians and surgeons as well as each patient he cares for. Dr. Vaughn enjoys running and is currently training for the Chicago Marathon. Dr. Vaughn is on staff at Lutheran General Hospital, NorthShore University Hospitals (Highland Park, Evanston and Glenbrook), Condell Hospital, and the Golf Surgical Center.
