As a Seward Nebraska native, Dr. Royce Mueller has been serving the Lincoln area as an expert in ear, nose and throat medicine since 1991. He is a board certified physician in Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery. Dr. Mueller completed his medical training at the University of Nebraska College of Medicine in Omaha. He completed his residency and surgical training at the University of Utah Affiliated Hospitals in Salt Lake City. Following residency, Dr. Mueller completed a Fellowship in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at St. Joseph Hospital in Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Mueller has been a member of numerous scholastic honor societies including Phi Eta Sigma, Alpha Lambda Delta, Phi Beta Kappa and Alpha Omega. Among his academic achievements include being a former Assistant Professor of Otolaryngology for the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, Clinical Instructor for the Department of Otolaryngology for the University of Illinois in Chicago, and was a co-author of a research presentation involving Pharyngeoesophageal Barotrauma. Dr. Mueller was nationally recognized for receiving the American Academy of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery's prestigious Honor Award in 1997. He has also assumed a number of professional positions within the medical community over his career, including being a former Chairman of the Residents and Fellows in Training Committee and on the Board of Governors for the American Academy of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery, former Chairman of the Credentials Committee and Utah Chapter President of the American Medical Association - Resident Physician Section, a former delegate and Board of Trustees member of the Utah Medical Association, a former delegate of the Lancaster County Medical Society, a former Sleep Lab hospital committee member, and former member of the Graduate Fellows committee for the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He has had professional memberships to the following medical organizations: American Medical Association, American Academy of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery, American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, American Academy of Otolaryngology Allergy, Nebraska Medical Association, Lancaster County Medical Society, and has been a Lincoln Specialty Care Member. Royce Mueller, M.D., has been with ENT Specialties, P.C. for over twenty years and treats all otolaryngologic conditions. He does have a special interest in pediatric ear, nose and throat problems, facial plastic reconstructive surgery and nasal/sinus surgery. When not caring for patients Dr. Mueller enjoys spending time with his wife and daughters, golfing, snow skiing, water skiing and traveling.
