Brief Intro

Rosa Rangel, MD, joined our medical staff in 2014 as director of our Hospitalist Program. A hospitalist specializes in the care of hospitalized patients and their unique conditions. Dr. Rangel earned her medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. She completed a residency and internship in internal medicine at Loyola University Medical Center. She has served in a variety of roles in different hospitals throughout the South. Before coming to Whidbey General through our partnership with Sound Physicians, Dr. Rangel served as an Internist, Director of ICU and EKG Reader at Redwood Memorial Hospital in Fortuna, Calif.
