Dr. Ron S. Bakal, MD, PC, is a board-certified urologist at Medex Diagnostic & Treatment Center in Forest Hills, treating patients in Queens and the greater New York City area. Dr. Bakal is an advocate of minimally invasive surgery and holistic care, but he’s also remarkably experienced and adept at a wide range of in-office and outpatient procedures that restore his patients’ urological health and happiness. After graduating from Brandeis University in Waltham, Massachusetts, with his Bachelor of Arts in biology, Dr. Bakal went into a masters program at the Boston University School of Medicine, where he studied medical science. He then earned his medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in Newark and completed his residency in urology at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine’s Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx. In addition to his work with Medex Diagnostic & Treatment Center, Dr. Bakal is an associate attending physician at Metropolitan Lithotriptor Associates and Gramercy Surgery Center, both in New York City. He also maintains privileges at Mount Sinai Beth Israel in Manhattan and Flushing Hospital Medical Center in Queens. Currently a member of the American Urological Association and Endourological Society, Dr. Bakal keeps up to date with all advances in his field and has been published in The Journal of Urology on a number of occasions. Dr. Bakal was born in Israel and is fluent in Hebrew, in addition to English, and is currently accepting new patients.
