I am board certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine, Sleep Medicine and Critical Care Medicine. After attending Temple University Medical School in Philadelphia and receiving my M.D degree in 1987, I completed a three year residency in Internal Medicine at Medical College of Pennsylvania. I left Philadelphia in 1990 and spent the next three years at Henry Ford Hospital for pulmonary, critical care and sleep medicine training. I am currently in solo practice at St. Joseph's Hospital in Pontiac, Michigan. Although the excitement of critical care medicine attracted me to the field, I now enjoy outpatient and inpatient pulmonary and sleep medicine. I have known many of my patients for 20 years, and find the long term relationships very meaningful. Despite increasing governmental control, medicine is still a wonderful career and I could never imagine a more fulfilling profession.
