Dr. Rob Pickering joins OrthoOne since 1996. A graduate of The University of Mississippi and The University of Mississippi School of Medicine, Pickering received certification from the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery in 1994. Pickering was resident physician at a local clinic from 1992 to 1996 and completed an internship at Baptist Memorial Hospital-East in 1991. He was a clinical instructor and assistant professor of orthopaedics at the Campbell Clinic. He has received numerous hospital appointments including work with the Midtown Surgery Center, Baptist Memorial Hospital-DeSoto, Le Bonheur Childrens Medical Center and the Regional Medical Center at Memphis. He was recognized with a Dean's Student Summer Research Fellow for his work investigating the properties of synthetic bone grafts at the University Medical Center in Jackson. During his career, he has been a member of numerous professional organizations, including the American Medical Society, Arthroscopy Association of North America and the National American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery. He was a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society and received the J.T. & Mary Davis Medicine Scholarship. Pickering is married and has one son who attends Ole Miss.
