Brief Intro

An honors graduate of the University of Massachusetts, Dr. Koolkin then earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Texas Dental Branch at Houston. After completing his residency at Worcester City Hospital and a post-doctoral year at the University of Massachusetts, Dr. Koolkin entered private practice in Franklin County in 1986. Dr. Koolkin has earned his Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry as well as the American Academy of Forensic Sciences. He maintains a faculty appointment at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine and actively serves the Department of Public Health and Community Service. A long-standing member of the Academy of the History of Dentistry, Dr. Koolkin has lectured  locally, regionally and nationally on topics related to early dentistry and anesthesia. Dr. Koolkin is licensed in Massachusetts and Vermont and eligible in the Province of Nova Scotia.
