Brief Intro

“Throughout my career, I have never lost the sense of joy I feel when connecting with children, teens, and young adults. It is immensely gratifying to help a struggling young person gain a sense of relief from anxiety or pain and move forward with optimism. My most significant teachers have been the clients and families with whom I have worked.” ~ Robert Fischer, MD

Dr. Fischer’s Approach

Dr. Fischer is committed to supporting his young clients from 5 to 25 years old to learn to navigate and heal their emotional and behavioral challenges; to gain a sense of relief from anxiety and pain so they can make progress and find a sense of joy and optimism about their future.

Dr. Fischer develops a customized treatment plan for each client using a lighter, play-orientated treatment approach to create a space where clients struggling with anxiety, depression, ADHD, bullying, acting out, trauma, isolation, eating disorders, bipolar disorders, OCD, Asperger’s, self-harm, chronic relapse, behavioral issues, difficulties at home/school, or medication management can explore complex and painful feelings.
