Dr. Wailes received his undergraduate degree at U.C. Berkeley then got his medical degree from Wake Forest University in 1981. He did his Anesthesia and Pain Managment training at U.C. San Diego. He started providing pain management services in North San Diego County in 1984. Dr. Wailes is a diplomate of the American Board of Pain Medicine, the American Board of Anesthesiology with added Qualifications in Pain Management and the American Academy of Pain Management. He is a leader in his field. He provides many services including state-of-the-art patient care, research, and teaching other doctors.
