Robert Burgess, M.D., was born in Deadwood and grew up in Rapid City. He attended the University of South Dakota then obtained his medical degree at the University of Iowa in Iowa City, where he graduated with honors. He trained at the top ranked ENT residency in the country, the University of Iowa and practiced in Montana before returning home to Rapid City. Dr. Burgess enjoys all aspects of the specialty and sees both adults and children. He has special interest in pediatrics, ear surgery and tumors of the head and neck. He spends his free time outdoors skiing, hiking, running, fishing and hunting.
