A member of the Division of Chest and Critical Care Medicine, Dr. Sarnoff graduated from Cornell University and New York University School of Medicine. He did his internal medicine residency, including chief medical residency, at Bellevue Hospital and had a pulmonary fellowship at UCSD. He is board certified in internal medicine, pulmonary disease, and critical care medicine.
Dr. Sarnoff is president of Scripps Clinic Medical Group. He is a past director of the Heart, Lung, Vascular Center; Division of Chest and Critical Care Medicine; Respiratory Care Services; and the Intensive Care Unit. His special interests include lung cancer, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, and interstitial lung disease. He is an active participant in clinical trials.
