Dr. Riley C. Sibley is the senior ophthalmologist at Gulf South Eye Associates. He is a Board Certified ophthalmologist. He received his undergraduate degree from Tulane University and his medical education at Louisiana State University and Charity Hospital of New Orleans. He completed a Corneal Fellowship at Columbia-Presbyterian Hospital in New York City in 1970. Dr. Sibley has been in private practice since 1973. He has served many times as Chairman of the Department of Ophthalmology at East Jefferson General Hospital. Dr. Sibley is the recipient of the Jefferson Parish Medical Society's Distinguished Service Award and has been listed among the Top Doctors of New Orleans by the New Orleans Magazine. He is a Life Member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. He is an active physician, practicing clinical ophthalmology on a daily basis.
