I aim to provide a wholistic approach to neurological diagnosis and treatment, looking at the whole patient rather than just one problem. My philosophy includes careful use of modern diagnostic tests, with a complete history and examination to make an accurate diagnosis, scientifically-based treatment recommendations, and paying attention to how a disease or condition affects a person's life or family. I encourage healthy lifestyle as an important part of treatment and disease prevention. I appreciate there will be times when physician involvement with the whole family is key and I aim to encourage such involvement when it is needed.
