Dr. Richard R. Gould is a general surgeon with interest and experience in thyroid, breast, thoracic, advanced laparoscopic, colon and rectal surgery. Among his many accomplishments, Dr. Gould initiated and managed the laparoscopic surgery program at the Fresno VA Medical Center, training fellow surgeons and staff in state-of-the-art procedures. As a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, Dr. Gould focuses on providing the safest and best medical care possible through a team approach that includes himself and his patients, as well as fellow physicians and health care providers. A Northwest native, Dr. Gould enjoys cycling, backpacking, playing guitar and spending timewith his family.
