I enjoy both outpatient and inpatient psychiatry. Most of my office time involves diagnostic assessments, medication management and supportive therapy. I work as part of a team with therapists and nurses in a way that patients have appreciated. Prior to entering psychiatry, I was a pediatric kidney specialist and worked with transplant patients (although I now see only adults). My special interests include patients with brain injuries, physicians needing treatment and complex diagnostic issues. I also enjoy caring for the broad range of psychiatric problems.
