Dr. Rebecca J. Kucera - Dr. Becca to her patients - has always enjoyed working with children. She majored in child development and graduated Summa Cum Laude from West Virginia University in 2000 with a B.S. in Family & Consumer Sciences. After one wonderful year living in Greenbrier county, working at The Greenbrier, she went on to WVU School of Dentistry and graduated in 2005. In dental school she realized quickly that she wanted to continue to work with children on a daily basis. She was accepted to the pediatric dentistry program at Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, TX and graduated in July of 2007. While there, she trained not only at Baylor but at two children's hospitals. In March of 2008 Dr. Becca received her board certification in pediatric dentistry. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.  Family: Dr. Becca was born in Charleston, WV and was raised in the Kanawha Valley. She is married to David Kucera and they have a daughter, Beverly, who is 4 years old, and a son, Paul, who is almost 2. David is originally from Maryland, but fell in love with West Virginia while at school at WVU. He lived in White Sulphur Springs for 3 years and was employed as the Greenbrier County Service Forester. He also coached the men's Varsity soccer at Greenbrier east for 3 seasons. He left only to join Dr. Becca up at Morgantown during her dental school years. They always had a special place in their hearts for Greenbrier County and Lewisburg and are excited to finally have the opportunity to return to the area.
