Brief Intro

Dr. Rebecca Goedeke joined Carroll Medical Group in 1990 shortly after its doors opened to the public. Her alma mater is University of Maryland where she completed her Bachelor of Arts in Biochemistry in 1983, graduated from medical school in 1988, and completed her residency in 1991. As a Chief Resident she focused on methods to strategically improve charting and documentation.Dr. Goedeke is Board Certified in Family Medicine and sees patients of all ages. She strives to empower her patients to take control of their healthcare through education and involvement. She heartily believes that communication and knowledge is vital to assist patients in achieving their health goals. Because she has worked at Carroll Medical Group for many years, she has had the opportunity to get to know her patients very well and to celebrate their family milestones and life events. She further embraces a tradition of education by occasionally precepting students to enhance their clinical experience. When at home, Dr. Goedeke finds pleasure in reading and caring for her family.
