He is a graduate of Washington University in St. Louis, where he earned his dental degree before completing an internship at Martin Army Community Hospital in Ft. Benning, Georgia, and pediatric dental residencies in Kimbrough Army Community Hospital in Ft. Meade, Maryland, and Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, DC.
