I decided that I wanted to be a Plastic Surgeon when I was only 12 years old. The Veteran's Hospital was only a short distance from my home and I would visit often. The deformities the Veteran's had obtained during tours of duty intrigued me and I wanted to learn how to fix these to give these guys a better life. This desire to help others achieve a better life and higher self esteem lead me to become a Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon. I still practice with a desire to help others.
