Brief Intro

Dr. Rajaswari (Sudha) Rajan has practiced in the Clear Lake area since 1983. Dr. Rajan received her medical degree from Bangalore Medical College (India) with top honors and was awarded the Gold Medal in Physiology in her second year of medical school. She completed one year of pediatric internship at District of Columbia General Hospital and a three-year family practice residency at the University of Maryland Hospital. Dr. Rajan is board-certified by the American Board of Family Practice and is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians. Her practice philosophy is to treat the patient as a whole and to include, when advisable, the use of scientific alternative medicine. She is a firm believer in inner healing and helps her patients draw upon their inner resources to promote their healing and well-being. Dr. Rajan?s eldest daughter is following in her mother?s footsteps and is now working with the World Health Organization. Her other two daughters are both focusing their education and careers on international relations. Dr. Rajan is the president of the United States YOGA association, VYASA-USA. She enjoys travel, art, music and dance and is an avid reader.
