Brief Intro

Dr. Raina is the founder of the Medical Associates. In 1996, Dr. Raina completed his residency at the University Of Medicine and Dentistry, New Jersey. He has been practicing Primary Care ever since. Initially, Dr. Raina worked in Escanaba, MI where he had the opportunity to be elected, “Chief of the Department of Medicine.” In Dec. 2000, Dr Raina joined North Shore University Hospital, Manhasset. As faculty in the Department of Medicine, Dr. Raina was mentor and teacher to the Hospital’s newer medical residents. He continued to care for patient during this time as well. In Jan 2003 Dr. Raina founded his own Primary Care Physician practice (Medical Associates). In 2015, Dr. Raina was appointed as Assisstant Clinical Professor in Northwell - Hofstra School of Medicine where he teaches Medical Students. In 2018, Dr. Raina was elected as Fellow by American College of Physicians, which is only given to physicians who care about delivering high-quality health care. Dr. Raina has been living on Long Island with his wife and two daughters since 2000. He enjoys spending time with his family and likes to play golf.
