Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:I have always had a deep interest in caring for and helping others. As a child, science was my favorite subject, which naturally transitioned into a focused fascination with the human body. Medicine allowed me to combine my two passions into a fulfilling career! What I want my patients to know about me:I am a board-certified general surgeon and fellowship-trained colon and rectal surgeon. Whatever the reason is, if you are coming to me, you are at a vulnerable time in your life. I will treat you with the utmost compassion and respect I would want for myself or my loved ones. Together, we will come up with a treatment plan that fits with your lifestyle and goals. What I do when I'm not seeing patients:I enjoy spending time with my wonderful husband, adorable son and two loving dogs. We enjoy hiking, wine tasting, food adventures and travel. Yoga and meditation help me stay grounded from the day-to-day stressors of life.
