Meet Dr. Priebe Phillip N. Priebe, DDS I originally chose dentistry because I liked my childhood dentist. I have since discovered that helping people get beautiful smiles while giving a comfortable and positive dental experience is priceless. I love the patients and staff I work with, and wouldn't change a thing about our wonderful practice! Education and Continuing Education Before I became a dentist, I attained my Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology at Washington State University, and earned my DDS from the University of Washington. Although my formal education was completed years ago, I always keep current with advanced dental methods and technologies, surpassing the requirements for continued education. Dentistry allows me to changing my patients' lives, both socially and nutritionally. I can help people chew what they want comfortably, and I love making smiles brighter! Patients often tell me I have helped them smile openly with confidence, and that always makes my day. I enjoy helping my patients discover that a satisfactory smile can turn into a head-turning smile with my help! The transformations always amaze my patients, and they are glad they took the time to see me. Family and Community I was born in Seattle, and spent most of my growing years in the Tri–City area of Eastern Washington. I have lived in Anchorage since 1974, and love it! My family has a long history in Alaska, from the Gold Rush to summer employment. My wife, Mary, and I have two sons and one daughter. My son Derek is an orthodontist in our practice. Todd is an aircraft mechanic here in Anchorage, and Tanya lives in Eagle River. In my spare time, I love flying, fishing, hunting, traveling and skiing. As an active member of our community, I am a member of the Petroleum Club and the Anchorage Alaska Dental Society.
