I immigrated to the U.S. from Vietnam when I was 2, in 1975. We first lived in Concord, California, then moved to the Los Angeles area and ultimately to Huntington Beach, where I went to elementary school and high school. I received part of my medical education in New York and then came back to USC, where I completed my medical school, residency, and fellowship training. I feel very lucky to work as an interventional radiologist because this is what I love to do.
