Dr. Gyerko grew up in the Midwest and has lived in Portland, Oregon since 1989. He obtained a B.S. in Biology and his Medical Degree from Indiana University in 1982 and 1986. He first came to Portland to train in Pediatrics in 1986 - 1989. He has been Board Certified in Pediatrics since 1991 and has enjoyed the same Pediatric practice for 16 years. Dr. Gyerko's practice philosophy centers on a strong belief in prevention of disease through parent and child education. He is married and has 2 wonderful children. His hobbies include gardening, fly fishing, bicycling and spending time outdoors.
