Dr Lund is a native of New Orleans. He received his undergraduate and graduate medical degrees at Tulane University where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa and Alpha Omega Alpha. He completed an orthopedic surgery residency at Tulane University Hospital and Charity Hospital, and was presented with numerous awards for orthopedic research. He completed a one year hand and upper extremity fellowship at the University of Mississippi Medical Center under the direction of Dr. Alan Freeland and Dr. William Geissler, recognized experts in hand surgery. Dr. Lund is an active member of the American Association for Hand Surgery, American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, and is a board certified general orthopaedic surgeon.
