Farm-bred in Nebraska, Dr. Harding learned at an early age how to trouble shoot problems when things weren%u2019t functioning properly. She learned that it was ok to patch things with a quick fix for the short-term, but that you had to get down to the bottom of the real problem if you didn't want to court disaster.
