Paul Jason Bowlds, MD, is a native of Kentucky. He obtained his medical degree from the University of Louisville Medical School and completed a general surgery residency at Vanderbilt University. Dr. Bowlds is board certified by the American Board of Surgery and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Bowlds has more than 10 years of private practice experience. His areas of interest include advanced laparoscopic surgery, laparoscopic inguinal hernia repair, surgical oncology, colorectal surgery, colonoscopy and endoscopy. Dr. Bowlds performs da Vinci® robotic procedures at Community Hospital South. Outside of work he enjoys biking, playing guitar, reading and watching independent movies.
