He has participated in numerous clinical trials that led to the development of the first FDA approved drug and skin patch for Alzheimers disease. Early in his career, he and his team described the olfactory deficits and related brain pathology in Alzheimers disease. At Health Partners and Regions Hospital, he is committed to building a multidisciplinary clinical team that will offer comprehensive and high quality care to all patients with memory and cognitive disorders as well as collaborating closely with the Alzheimers Research Center in order to enhance our understanding of neurodegenerative disorders and develop novel approaches that would lead to the prevention, early diagnosis, and more cost-effective treatment of Alzheimers disease and related diseases. I consider myself fortunate because I work with well trained and very dedicated and supportive staff that truly cares about our patients needs.
