Dr. Olayinka Akinwumiju serves on the Active Medical Staff at Parkwood Hospital in Olive Branch, Mississippi and is fully licensed in both Mississippi and Tennessee. He provides psychiatric consultations at the Baptist Memorial Hospital in Southaven, Mississippi and Collierville, Tennessee. Dr. Akinwumiju is a graduate of the University of Ibadan in Nigeria and completed his Internship and Residency at Harlem Hospital in New York City. He served as Chief Resident at Harlem Hospital, was awarded Resident of the Year for 1997-1998 and 1998-1999, and was the recipient of the Harlem Hospitals Certificate of Honor for services rendered to medical students.
