Dr. Shahdad is board-certified in psychiatry and neurology. Her clinical interests include care of patients in the Irving and surrounding areas with various neurological disorders including stroke, seizures, headaches, neuromuscular disorders, movement disorders and neurodegenerative disorders. Having completed her fellowship in Clinical Neurophysiology, her expertise focuses on the evaluation and the management of patients with epilepsy as well as interpreting electroencephalogram (EEG) and performing electromyography (EMG). She is a recipient of the ""Edward Fogan Award"" as best outgoing resident. Her clinical research focused on photic induced seizures. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, spending time with family, listening to music and enjoying outdoor activities with her family. Dr. Shahdad is fluent in English, Kashmiri, Urdu and Hindi. She is dedicated to serving the neurology needs of patients in Irving, Dallas and surrounding areas.Dr. Shahdad was voted Best Neurologist in Coppell & North Irving by the readers of Living Magazine for 2024.
